Amy McDowell joined the National Center for State Courts in 2007. She is an Education Program Manager with the Institute for Court Management, responsible for managing and coordinating the ICM Fellows Program and serving as faculty for ICM’s national and partnership courses. Amy is co-Director of the Election Law Program, a joint program with the College of William and Mary, and serves as an Editor of Judicial Education and Training, the journal of the International Organization for Judicial Training. She holds a J.D. from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law; a M.P.A. from Old Dominion University; and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary. Additionally, she is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, as well as an adjunct faculty member with the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University, where she is completing Ph.D. studies. Amy is a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management.
