Deborah Smith joined the National Center for State Courts in May 2008. She is responsible for providing technical assistance to constituents, creating Web content and participating in a variety of other projects. Ms. Smith earned her J.D. from the College of William and Mary, Marshall Wythe School of Law and her B.A. from the College of William and Mary where she majored in Sociology. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and has practiced in the areas of criminal law and special education advocacy.
