Second Annual Conference
of the Council of Language Access Coordinators


NCSC is pleased to present the Second Annual Conference of the Council of Language Access Coordinators (CLAC).  Last year’s first-ever conference was a great success with over 70 court professionals attending from across the country who engaged in a rich exchange of ideas and learned about current innovations in the field. 

This year’s conference will not only build upon the successful aspects of that conference, but will also go further into incorporating new and dynamic sessions that will assist court professionals in enhancing their state language access programs.    

The theme of the conference is "The Many Hats of Interpreter Program Management" and the agenda will feature exciting topics including the following:

  • “Legal Snapshots” on legal topics (such as employment law, immigration law, ADA law) relevant to running a court interpreters program;
  • Proctor and test administration training;
  • Running a program on a shoestring budget; and
  • Remote interpreting, including progress on national database and cloud capability.
