The Warren E. Burger Award for Excellence in Court Administration

The nomination process

Members of the NCSC Board, its advisory committees or associations for which NCSC serves as secretariat can nominate candidates for the award. Candidates must be actively employed in the field of court administration and must have significant experience serving state or local courts. The nomination must include the nominations letter, a resume for the candidate and demonstrate that the candidate has the qualities described above. In addition, the nomination must provide two additional letters of reference.

The selection committee

The Governance and Nominations Committee of the NCSC Board of Directors serves as the selection committee for this award. The Award is presented annually at a time and location mutually agreeable to the recipient and the National Center.
