Public Safety Assessment-Court (PSA-Court)
The Laura and John Arnold Foundation(LJAF) recently developed the PSA-Court, which they describe as a "comprehensive, universal risk assessment" tool that can "accurately, quickly, and efficiently assess the risk that a defendant will engage in violence, commit a new crime, or fail to come back to court." The PSA-Court was implemented statewide in Kentucky in July of 2013. LJAF plans to pilot the instrument in other pilot sites before making the tool available nationally.
