Williamsburg, Va. (July 25, 2014) –  Elena R. Baca, chair of Paul Hastings Los Angeles office and partner in the Employment Law practice, has been selected to serve on the National Center for State Court's (NCSC) Board of Directors for a three-year term.   

In her practice, clients include financial institutions, major manufacturers, medical technology companies, and leading consumer brands. Baca has been recognized numerous times as one of the Best Lawyers in America and was included in the American Lawyers 2011 list of the Top 45 Women under 45. She is recognized by Chambers USA and Legal 500 as one of the top-ranked employment defense lawyers in California. She is a Board member of the Human Rights Campaign and a former Board member of the Hispanic American Bar Foundation. Baca received her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and her juris doctorate from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.

The National Center for State Courts, headquartered in Williamsburg, Va., is a nonprofit court organization dedicated to improving the administration of justice by providing leadership and service to the state courts. Founded in 1971 by the Conference of Chief Justices and Chief Justice of the United States Warren E.
