Photography and Artwork

No matter what kind of document or report you’re producing, readers like photos and graphics, so use them to help illustrate what you’re writing and to break up large blocks of words.

Tips for choosing good images:

  • For print purposes, pick high-resolution images -- at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Anything lower will not reproduce well.
  • Make sure images for e-documents are at least 72 dpi.
  • For photos that include people, select photos that reflect the diversity found in the courts.
