Indiana
The Office of Court Services provide a two-day conference every October for our city and town court judges to keep them updated on the case types they adjudicate in their courts.

Missouri
Advancing Justice Campaign. (pdf) “A Journey of 10,000 Steps” was the title of the first county-based educational workshop, held November 3, 2017, covering the best practices required of municipal courts by the state Supreme Court.

Ohio
The Supreme Court of Ohio recently hosted the Pretrial Justice Summit where municipal court judges and their teams learned about bail reform and pretrial services. It also hosts roundtables throughout the year for all jurisdictions, including municipal and county courts.

South Carolina
Court Administration conducts several trainings throughout the year.  Orientation School for newly appointed judges is offered in March and July.  A one-day mandatory school is held for summary court judges.  Court Administration also coordinates with the Magistrates Advisory Council, the S.C. Commission on Prosecution Coordination and the S.C. Appleseed Legal Justice to present a week-long intensive training for summary court judges.  Additionally, several other organizations host continuing legal education programs throughout the year, including but not limited to the S.C. Bar, the S.C. Summary Court Judges Association, and the Municipal Court Administration Association.
