Description | The Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeal (CCJSCA) is hosting its annual meeting virtually on December 1 & 2 at 2 pm ET each day. The conference will include Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, who will provide an update on the latest U.S. Supreme Court decisions, what they mean, and how they will affect our daily work. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Gilbert King will tell true crime stories underscoring the deep roots of racism and injustice in America and how appellate decisions began to reshape the legal landscape in pursuit of America’s justice and integrity. Other captivating programs will include a presentation by Thomson Reuters highlighting its Amicus platform and its collaborative effort with Judges and their staff to improve court case workflow efficiencies. The CCJSCA Business Meeting will be held, and Jonathan Shapiro will conclude education with “The Book of Ruth - The Song of Sandra - The Legacy of Sisters In Law.” Have questions or want to register?
