Webinar: What are we learning about remote hearings, part two - Guidance for post-pandemic remote hearings

-

Last month, five NCSC experts distilled recent NCSC research on remote hearings. In our next webinar in this series, join leading experts across the states who will share insights into the development of policy, rules and operations around remote hearings.  We will hear from court leaders in Arizona, Maryland and Minnesota. The panelists will discuss how they are determining which hearings should be remote; ways to support virtual and hybrid proceedings from a technical perspective; how rules are being revised to accommodate; and many topics critical to the successful implementation of remote hearings.

Panelists:

  • Marcus Reinkensmeyer, Deputy Director, Administrative Office of the Courts, Arizona
  • Jeff Shorba, State Court Administrator, Minnesota
  • Jason Thomas, Chief Technology Officer, Administrative Office of the Courts, Maryland
