| Monitoring Information: |
Idaho documents court performance relevant to time standards by producing computer-generated reports with information compiled at both local and statewide levels. Case processing time standards reports are available to the public through open records requests. |
| Notes: | These time standards are used as a guideline for judges, lawyers, and litigants to assist in the determination of the average length of time it should take to conclude a case in the trial courts. It was ordered in 1997 that these time standards be communicated to judges and lawyers in order to enlist their support in achieving the time goals established. The appellate time standards are under review by an appellate court task force. |
