Strategic Planning Grant: 2019

Led by the Louisiana Access to Justice Commission, Louisiana stakeholders plan to use the JFA funding to support the state’s efforts to map its current assets and create a strategic plan for building a more robust and user-friendly system. Louisiana already boasts a rich network of committed organizations and an infrastructure that will include the Civil Legal Navigator project. This is an integrated civil legal aid service delivery portal that leverages legal technology, the knowledge of subject matter experts, and artificial intelligence to direct Louisiana families to the most appropriate resource and/or referral. Through the JFA initiative, Louisiana aims to adopt a more coordinated and collaborative approach in order to make this content available to many more Louisiana residents in one centralized location. This will help the state better align resources and action and bolster interconnectedness among partners.
