Redefining Case Management An update to their 2009 civil caseflow management guidelines, this recently released report by IAALS shares the lessons learned from the Civil Justice Initiative about the importance of casefow management.
The Virginia Self-Represented Litigant Study
This fiver-year study by NCSC focused on Virginia's unrepresented litigants. Ultimately five separate reports were completed with key findings, such as: the vast majority of civil cases included at least one unrepresented party; poverty is associated with not being represented in a court by a lawyer; and both plaintiffs and defendants have substantially higher success rates when represented than when they are unrepresented.
