Registration is now open for all 2023 ICM virtual CCM and CCE courses

NCSC is pleased to announce that registration is now open for all 2023 Institute for Court Management (ICM) Virtual Certified Court Manager Certification (CCM) and Certified Court Executive Certification (CCE) courses.

ICM is offering these courses as a “Live” virtual experience. The “Live” virtual online courses use the Zoom platform. Course format features live presentation by ICM National Faculty, combined with numerous opportunities for interaction such as breakout groups, polling, chat messaging, and discussions.

"ICM has offered education to the court community for over 50 years, and the characteristics of our educational model have been and are relevant materials which incorporate best practices and research, interactivity, networking and fostering professional development.  We are proud to have replicated those qualities - “The ICM Experience”, if you will – in the virtual classroom.” - Director of National Programs Margaret Allen Hoyt

ICM courses are closely aligned with the National Association for Court Management (NACM) Core. The NACM Core consists of knowledge, skills, and abilities court professionals must have in order to be effective managers and dynamic leaders.

The CCM credential consists of six courses which provide a foundation of knowledge about court management principles. After the completion of the six courses, the Certified Court Manager credential is awarded. CCM courses consist of the following:

  • Accountability & Court Performance
  • Budget & Fiscal Management
  • Caseflow & Workforce Management
  • Project Management for Courts
  • Purposes & Responsibilities of Courts
  • Workforce Management

Our CCE courses are perfect for court managers growing to meet new challenges in their roles. CCE courses consist of the following:

  • Educational Development
  • Executive Decision-Making
  • Leadership
  • Modern Court Governance
  • Operations Management
  • Public Relations
  • Visioning & Strategic Planning

Though the CCM and CCE courses may be taken in any order, participants often start with the CCM courses. All thirteen courses (6 CCM and 7 CCE) must be completed to earn the Certified Court Executive credential.
