Miriam Hamilton is a Court Research Analyst in the Research Division of the National Center for State Courts. She received her B.A. in political science from Freie University Berlin in Germany, and her M.S. in political science from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Before coming to the National Center for State Courts in 2020, she worked as a program manager for the Richmond World Affairs Council. Since joining NCSC, she has been involved with the Court Statistics Project, the Just Horizons Initiative, and participated in project work in various other areas, including guardianship and conservatorship, jury studies, racial equity and inclusion, and judicial performance evaluations.
