NCSC is pleased to present the Eighth Annual Conference of the Council of Language Access Coordinators (CLAC). This is the first in-person CLAC Conference since 2019 and this year’s conference promises to cover a lot of ground to address the many changes to how courts provide language access services nationwide, how the role of the language access program manager has developed to include additional equal access considerations, such as ADA and low literacy, and new innovations to meet the ever-evolving access needs of the courts.

This year’s conference will exam our ‘new normal’ and how to prepare to provide language access services in the future. This year the conference will offer several new dynamic and highly interactive sessions focused on DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), VRI (video remote interpreting), ADA Title II compliance and ASL court interpreter credentialing approaches, and will include the ever-popular Express Lessons, and lots of discussion and networking opportunities.

The Conference is hosted by the National Center for State Courts and the New Mexico Judiciary.
