Case Participant

Within the Case Management System (CMS) ecosystem, the Case Participant Manager component supports managing case participants, including parties and non-party participants. The Case Participant Manager enables the CMS to be person-based (as well as case-based).

  1. Captures, manages and rolls up (connects, disconnects) identities of case participants
  2. Manages the roles and relationships of participants to and in cases, e.g. party, representation and type, witnesses, victims, co-defendants, interpreter, guardian ad litem (GAL), parent/ guardian, case manager
  3. Manages participant attributes and related information, e.g. addresses, cell/text contact, email and so on, and their associated time-stamps, sources and validation considerations
  4. Provides identity validation support (ideally via the Identity Management component)
