During the summer of 2022, with funding from the State Justice Institute, NCSC conducted an 8-week mindfulness pilot program for those who work in and with courts. The program used a free app and included weekly webinar sessions provided by a certified mindfulness instructor and former court professional. You can access all the materials we used for the program below. Survey results from program participants suggest that building a judicial education mindfulness program around a mobile app is a cost-effective approach that is flexible to implement and can help some members of the court community enhance their mindfulness and well-being and reduce their stress.
