Within the Case Management System (CMS) ecosystem, Compliance Monitoring supports enforcement of court orders within the court and clerk office. It provides tools for monitoring compliance with court orders, time standards, court rules, financial obligations, reporting requirements (e.g., estate and guardianship reports), etc.
- Receives accounts of court-ordered financial obligations (e.g., fines, costs, restitution)
- Generates notifications (ideally via the Notifications component)
- Tracks activity, correspondence and contacts
- Manages execution of judgments including garnishments
- Initiate garnishment process
- Answer of garnishee
- Court clerk pays garnished funds to plaintiff/ judgment creditor
- Uses workflow to relate events, conditions and actions relating to compliance (ideally via the Integration Engine component)
- Provides tools to support follow-up
- Supports interfaces to IVR, dialer, court accounting system, tax intercept, DMV, skip tracing, etc.
