New Hampshire voters will decide whether to increase that state’s age from 70 to 75 in 2024

    • Texas voters reject efforts to increase from 75 to 79
    • Wisconsin Assembly approves bill imposing a judicial retirement age of 70; currently state has no age limit
  • Pennsylvania is considering a constitutional amendment to require their non-attorney magisterial district court judges to complete training and pass an examination before running for office; currently may be elected but may not serve until training and exam are complete
  • Ohio House approves bill to allow a concealed handgun licensee to carry a handgun in a building or structure that is not a courthouse but in which a courtroom is located
