Language Access Plan

Interpreter Statutes and Rules: No statutes regarding foreign language interpreters; NHRSA 509:1 requires that all court records be in English; NHRSA 521: A governs interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Minimum Certification Requirements: Orientation Workshop Written Language Assessment or Written Translation, Criminal or Background Check, Oath of Office, Continuing Education Courses, Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) in English, Court Observation
