Lonni Kyhos Summers
Lonni Kyhos Summers is a senior court management consultant, focusing on access to justice. Before joining the NCSC, Lonni directed the Maryland Judiciary’s statewide network of Court Help Centers, a high-volume program that offers free, civil legal help to unrepresented litigants from nine walk-in locations and a remote services center.
Lonni has dedicated her career to addressing barriers to justice. She began her legal career in general civil practice, staffing the award-winning District Court Help Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She managed the consumer and foreclosure unit at the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer’s Service and represented tenants in rent court through her work at D.C. Law Students in Court (Rising for Justice). Lonni is a graduate of Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She lives in Annapolis with her family.
