Miriam Hamilton is a Senior Court Research Analyst in the Research
Division of the National Center for State Courts. She received her M.S. in
political science from the University of Nebraska in Omaha and a B.A. in
political science from Freie Universität Berlin, in Germany. Her project work at
the National Center for State Courts includes the Court Statistics Project, the
Just Horizons Initiative, Illinois Judicial Performance Evaluations, the
Mindfulness Education Program, Master Jury List analyses, and an Evaluation
of the Texas Expedited Action Rules. She also works in various other areas,
such as guardianship and conservatorship, jury systems, and racial equity and
representativeness.
