If you’re having trouble thinking about what to enter, here are some suggestions to help you get started. Be creative – and humorous, if appropriate.

Website Duel: A video role-play of a person from another court navigating your court system (and vice versa), providing commentary on how long it takes, whose process is easier, and what unexpected questions arise.

The Stopwatch Challenge: Time yourself conducting a court process, with commentary on the surprising amount of time it takes and how it could be improved. Conduct a race within your court or with other courts.

Jurassic Tech: Find outdated technology (like a fax machine or an old computer) still in use in the court, with a narrative telling a funny story about trying to use it and suggestions for more modern replacements.

Tech-Challenged: Simple technology (like muting/unmuting on Zoom call), that still challenges users.

Language Barrier: A photo/video of an incomprehensible legal document or a complicated webpage, with a narrative translating it into simple language, demonstrating the need for clearer communication.

The Legal Labyrinth: Do you have great forms? Do you still have some unnecessarily complex and lengthy ones?

The Epic Odyssey: A photo or narrative showcasing an epic win or fail in court UX, accompanied by an entertaining story about the event.

Phone Tree Fumble: A video of the contestant navigating their own court's phone tree, with an animated narrative about the pitfalls and potential improvements.

Process Map Maze: A self-created process map for basic court processes.

Escape the Courtroom: A video of a court-themed escape room experience, with light commentary on the challenges of navigating through a simulated court process.
