Dive into "The Intersection of Cybersecurity and AI" with renowned information security executive Tarah Wheeler at this year's Court Technology Conference (CTC), Sept. 16-18, in Kansas City, Missouri.

During her keynote address, Wheeler will explore critical challenges posed by AI-enhanced cyber threats and share strategic insights to help courts harness AI as a powerful tool for digital resilience.

Wheeler is a white hat hacker, social scientist, and CEO of Red Queen Dynamics, a cybersecurity compliance company. As a senior fellow for global cyber policy at the Council on Foreign Relations and a board member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, she is a leading voice on global cyber policy and cyber warfare.

Registration for the world's largest court technology conference is still open, but if you're unable to attend in person you can join the livestream. Livestream registrants will have access to Wheeler's keynote, general sessions, and the Emerging Technology and Business Process Transformation education tracks. You can either join the conference "live" or watch select sessions after the event on demand.

The keynote is just one of more than 40 educational sessions that await judges, court administrators, technologists, and other court professionals during this year's conference. With six dedicated educational tracks, CTC 2025 has something for everyone.

Educational tracks include:

  • Court Security and Disaster Recovery
  • Emerging Technology
  • Data A to Z
  • Business Process Transformation
  • Access to Justice
  • Sponsor Spotlight Education Track

You'll also have opportunities for deeper exploration through hands-on exercises and two-part sessions.

Adding to the AI conversation will be a midnote roundtable discussion, "The Promise and Perils of AI in the Court System," with NCSC President Beth Clement and experts Michael Navin, Diane Robinson, and Aubrie Souza. Learn how we're working with courts around the country to help implement AI tools to improve access to justice and impact operations, addressing emerging practices for governance around AI's use, and providing ongoing education and training through the TRI/NCSC AI Policy Consortium.
