Jannet Okazaki, PMP serves as the Deputy Managing Director at the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), where she has been an integral part of the technology consulting team since 2017. She brings extensive expertise in court technology solutions, policy development, and governance. Her role includes advancing educational initiatives for major bi-annual technology conferences such as eCourts and CTC.
Jannet’s projects focus on enhancing court technology, fostering innovation, and optimizing business processes. Jannet currently oversees the DOT/FMCSA grant portfolio with a focus on data collection, data quality, timely reporting, and compliance related to traffic court and commercial driving cases.
At NCSC, Jannet has worked on initiatives involving digital evidence, evidence-based public access policy guidance, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), studies related to emerging technologies, data exchanges, technology assessments, courtroom technology, cybersecurity in the courts, and Artificial Intelligence.
Prior to working at NCSC, Jannet retired after 32 years with the State of Florida where she managed technology services in Children and Family Services, Juvenile Justice, and the Trial Courts. Jannet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
