CTC 2025 offers a fresh approach to traditional solutions
Five educational tracks and one sponsor track = 40+ sessions
This year's Court Technology Conference continues the longstanding tradition of showcasing practical applications of technology and innovation in the courts while introducing new, hands-on opportunities. The conference is coming up September 16-18, 2025, in Kansas City, Mo. Discounted registration is available through June 30.
Current, top-of-mind topics such as cybersecurity will be delivered either as sessions, demos or workshops to better meet the needs of attendees.
"This year, we're taking a different approach to our programming," said Jannet Okazaki, an NCSC deputy managing director and NCSC's conference education lead. "By defining topical tracks and identifying the level of instruction as general or technical, we've made adjustments to help ensure attendees get the most out of this year's conference."
One of the featured technical sessions in the data track is a hands-on workshop, Deploying an AI Agent. By the end of the hour, attendees will have built a functional AI agent and gained foundational knowledge to go further.
The agenda also offers two, two-part sessions on cybersecurity and evidentiary issues created by AI that give attendees extended time to learn and apply concepts that can be implemented in their courts. In addition to providing guidance on technology and tools, CTC also explores the important role of vendor relationships and how courts and vendors can foster better, less costly, and more timely outcomes on court technology projects.
Organizers are particularly excited about a session that will walk through the New York Virtual Court Appearance Platform, a digital courtroom solution supporting virtual and hybrid court appearances that offers seamless interaction between litigants, attorneys, and court staff.
"This session is by judges, for judges," Okazaki said. "We're so excited to have the team join us. This session goes beyond the vendor demonstrating the result. The entire team will explain how they worked together to design and build the platform."
In addition to the educational sessions, CTC 2025 attendees will enjoy extended Marketplace hours to explore tech options and engage in product demos. There's also an opportunity to spend time at NCSC's Center Quarter, to hear even more about work happening at NCSC and to meet and greet our staff and leaders.
