Jason Tashea is a technologist, entrepreneur, and writer exploring justice and technology. Before joining NCSC, he was the court innovation advisor at Renaissance Philanthropy and the courts and AI fellow at Georgetown Law. 

He co-founded the Court Innovation Roundtable and was the founding director and co-founder of the Judicial Innovation Fellowship program at Georgetown Law. Additionally, he has served as a consultant for the World Bank on access to justice and technology issues, and has experience as a product manager at multiple justice technology startups. Tashea is also the author of the Justice Tech Download, a weekly industry newsletter. He's currently a member of the Legal Services Corporation's Leaders Council and a senior advisor to the AI and Justice Consortium. 

Tashea earned his juris doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, after which he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study juvenile justice reform in the Republic of Kosovo. He has a bachelor's degree from Linfield College.
