Shay Cleary

Shay Cleary is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance court administration and outcomes as an accomplished court information technology professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. 

Cleary served in various roles within the Minnesota Judicial Branch and led projects focused on technical leadership, infrastructure, procurement, process improvement, and end-user support.

He holds a master's degree in business communication; a bachelor's degree in technical communication; and certifications as a Certified Court Manager (CCM) and ITIL Foundations Practitioner. He is ICS2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CCC). His NCSC assignments include the Advisory Council of the ABA Task Force on the Law and Artificial Intelligence; and staff lead for the Conference of Chief Justices and Conference of State Court Administrators (CCJ/COSCA) AI Rapid Response Team.
