Shay Cleary

An accomplished court information technology professional with over 20 years of experience in the field, Shay Cleary is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance court administration and outcomes. 

Nationally, he represents NCSC on the Advisory Council of the ABA Task Force on the Law and Artificial Intelligence and was staff lead for the Conference of Chief Justices and Conference of State Court Administrators (CCJ/COSCA) AI Rapid Response Team.

Previously, Cleary served the Minnesota Judicial Branch in various roles leading projects focused on technical leadership, infrastructure, procurement, process improvement, and end-user support.

He earned a master's degree in business communication, bachelor's degree in technical communication, and is a Certified Court Manager (CCM). He also holds information technology and cybersecurity certifications.
