Zack DeMeola provides strategic, operational, and thought leadership for a portfolio of education, training, and professional development initiatives. 

He also provides strategic support for the Committee on Legal Education and Admissions Reform (CLEAR).

DeMeola was previously the senior director of strategic initiatives for the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), where he oversaw LSAC's strategy department, including research, educational content, and new initiatives to inform and guide those interested in pursuing a career in law. Before joining LSAC, he was the director of legal education and the legal profession at the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS), a national, independent research center at the University of Denver.  

From 2020 – 2026, DeMeola co-chaired the Outcomes and Assessments Committee for the ABA Section on Legal Education and Bar Admission. From 2020-2023, he spurred innovative thinking among the legal profession as a member of the Governing Council of the ABA Center for Innovation.  In 2023, the ABA Journal named DeMeola a Legal Rebel for his groundbreaking work creating a holistic way for law students to find where they fit into the profession. 

DeMeola earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and both a juris doctor and master's degree from William & Mary.
