Family-Centered Friday: Protein for All - Washington's approach to supporting families & staff
This month's Family-Centered Friday session will showcase the Protein for All collaboration between the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts, local dependency courts, a naturopathic physician, and the Parents for Parents peer mentoring program. By offering protein-rich snacks to court-involved families and staff at key moments like before hearings or assessments, Protein for All aims to reduce stress, stabilize emotions, and support clearer decision-making and cognitive function. Attendees will learn about program implementation, benefits, and preliminary outcomes.
