Using collaborative training and best practices, Liz Barnhart guides courts, justice system partners, and community stakeholders through system change to address community needs. 

Before joining NCSC, she delivered training, technical assistance, and evaluations that supported crisis intervention, behavioral health diversion, coordinated domestic violence response, court navigation, pretrial and probation, and treatment courts. Barnhart's areas of focus include behavioral health, emerging adults, and rural justice. 

She graduated from Adams State University with a dual bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology and earned a master's degree in sociology from Illinois State University.
