Sarah Vandenberg Van Zee

Sarah Vandenberg Van Zee manages complex national technical assistance initiatives focused on domestic violence, technology, business process engineering, and coordinated community response. A subject-matter expert on domestic violence, she collaborates with diverse teams to gather and synthesize complex information, develop actionable recommendations, and identify effective solutions. She also builds trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project goals.

Before her current role, she served as a program specialist in NCSC's research division and a program assistant with the Iowa Accountability Program under the Iowa State Court Administrator's Office.

She has a master's degree in social work from the University of Iowa and is a licensed master social worker.
