Abby Kuschel

Abby Kuschel collaborates with courts to strengthen their strategic planning, leadership, and governance.

Prior to joining NCSC, she served the Minnesota Judicial Branch for 15 years in a variety of local, district, and state roles. Kuschel worked extensively in treatment court coordination and administration and supervised the court services division at the Administrative Office of the Courts. The division included statewide program staff supporting court interpreter programs, psychological services, treatment courts, jury management, and children's justice. She also collaborated with tribal nations for over 10 years. Kuschel's previous work was in public health.  

She earned a bachelor's degree in community health education and psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
