Disposition Error Reporting System
Maryland's Department of Public Safety and Correction Services (DPSCS) developed a program to identify submitted dispositions for which there were no associated records in Maryland's Criminal Justice Information System-Central Repository (CJIS-CR). The overall project goal was to improve the quality of the Maryland criminal history database by improving disposition matching on an ongoing basis using an automated error-reporting program and manual correction process.
The project was implemented in three phases during 2013-2014:
