Contributing to better courts

By joining the Lawyers Committee, you contribute vital philanthropic support to the National Center for State Courts, advancing our mission to promote fair, efficient, and accessible courts. Engaging with the Lawyers Committee creates opportunities to engage with leaders form America's top law firms, state court leaders, and other judicial leaders.

  • Dialogue with state court chief justices and other judicial leaders on current issues;
  • Participate on voluntary advisory committees that help direct research in areas such as jury reform;
  • Communicate issues that affect lawyers in the courts and help focus the Center's future research; and
  • Participate in exclusive programming that educates members on innovations and challenges within the judicial system.

Lawyers Committee attorneys also have an opportunity to refer a lawyer who is 40 years of age or younger or who has been admitted to the practice for less than 10 years to participate in the Young Lawyers Committee.
