Portable Media Messaging Profile (zip): The first of many possible messaging profiles to support and implement the core spec. Although it is unlikely that any court would actually implement this profile, it had three purposes:
- first, it meets a need to convey documents that are too large for the online filing system to handle;
- second, it can provide a backup system when the online version is down;
- third, it acted as a thought experiment to verify that the modularity of the architecture is correct when separating the messages (with context) from the message profiles that deliver the content. (11-18-2005 Draft)
- Web Services Messaging Profile (zip): The second of many possible messaging profiles to support and implement the core specification.
- Document Signature Profiles: This group of profiles supports technical requirements that were better separated from the messaging profiles. Signature Profiles are defined in section 6 of the LegalXML Electronic Court Filing 3.0 Specification. A court can choose to implement one of many potential signature profiles. (11-18-2005 Drafts)
