John Meeks

John Meeks serves as vice president of education and professional development, where he champions leadership and professional development within the justice system.
An accomplished speaker, Meeks frequently presents at national and international conferences on topics including court leadership, management, adult education, faculty development, and curriculum design.
Before joining NCSC in 2006, Meeks spent a decade as director of the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College and served as a senior attorney in the Supreme Court of Florida's Office of the State Courts Administrator.
Meeks holds a bachelor's degree from the University of the South and a law degree from the Stetson University College of Law. He also earned a certificate in the art and practice of leadership development from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
