Pamela Casey

Pamela Casey shares decades of research experience in her role as NCSC's vice president of research and design. 

Since 1986, she has held several leadership roles within the research division and supported the Conference of Chief Justices and Conference of State Court Administrators in their work to develop national policy statements and recommendations for state courts. Casey has directed projects on the use of evidence-based practices in pretrial, sentencing, and community corrections; and cognitive and neuroscience research related to judicial decision-making. Her current work focuses on building future ready courts by incorporating strategic foresight methods into strategic planning. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology.
